Managing Director, Private Equity
Michael leads Sandaire’s Private Equity business and is responsible for sourcing, reviewing, making and monitoring new investments in private equity funds and direct investments in businesses.
Michael is a seasoned private equity practitioner. Over three decades, he has built a wealth of experience in business valuations, purchase negotiations, deal structuring and managing the investment in companies on behalf of his clients. Michael has held board seats and guided businesses through the journey of growth, further acquisition and eventual exit. Michael has a strong track record and collated an extensive network from which to gather insights and high quality opportunities.
Before joining Sandaire in 2019, Michael spent more than 20 years working as an investor in private equity – principally in mid-market buyouts for LGV Capital, Legal & General’s private equity investment arm. Before that, Michael spent three years at PPM Ventures, the private equity investment arm of Prudential plc, which subsequently became Silverfleet Capital which he joined in 1997. Michael started his career in 1988, spending nine years at Hambros Bank, principally in the corporate finance department, advising quoted and private clients on M&A and capital raisings.
Sandaire Private Equity will embellish Sandaire’s offering to existing and new clients. Our strong investment track record of investing in private equity and its deep network of contacts in the market will allow the business to identify high quality opportunities for our clients.
