Sandaire, the international multi-family office, has announced the further expansion of their client offering by launching a new Real Estate advisory business. This follows the recent announcements in March this year of the launch of Corporate Finance and enhanced Private Equity businesses.

Sandaire Real Estate will provide strategic portfolio, transaction and asset management services and advice, as well as the ongoing management of individual property assets and portfolios to both new and existing clients. The business will provide a complete suite of services throughout the investment cycle, from full acquisition through to hold and disposal, as well as specific Real Estate consultancy activities.

Sandaire is pleased to announce two senior appointments to spearhead the Real Estate business with immediate effect. Chris Horler has joined the business as Managing Director whilst Robert Stokely has been appointed to the position of Director.

Chris Horler, a Chartered Surveyor, has over 30 years’ experience in Real Estate. Chris specialised in investment valuation and finance and went on to establish pan European real estate businesses for RBS and HBOS across Europe. Chris was head of Europe for REIT Asset Management and latterly Director of Property at Arbuthnot Latham, Private Bank, where he set up their commercial property finance business in 2016.

Robert Stokely is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has more than 25 years’ commercial property experience. Prior to joining Sandaire, Robert was a Founder and Director of LSH Investment Management. Between 2006 and 2015, Robert was an Equity Partner at Edward Symmons LLP prior to its acquisition by Lambert Smith Hampton. Previously Robert has successfully run his own eponymous commercial property consultancy, Stokely Commercial Ltd.

James Fleming, Chief Executive of Sandaire, said:

“The collective knowledge, expertise and experience that both Chris and Robert bring to the firm further strengthens our business and reinforces our position at the forefront of multi-family office providers.

“Chris and Robert will be working with clients to understand their requirements and create a bespoke plan to reflect their individual needs.

“The sectors that the team will be focusing on are commercial, residential, development and rural real estate within the UK, expanding in the short to medium term within Europe and other capital and regional cities.”

Chris Horler, Managing Director of Sandaire Real Estate, said:

“Robert and I are delighted to join Sandaire, at this time of expansion. Sandaire has ambitious growth plans for the next five years and Sandaire Real Estate will play a vital role in ensuring that we are responding to clients’ ever-evolving demands.”

Warwick Newbury, Chairman of Sandaire, said:

“Chris and Robert are Chartered Surveyors both of whom have had different but complimentary career paths. Their blend of skills means they are able to offer Sandaire’s client’s access to deals, frequently off-market, but also detailed professional advice on property portfolio management. We welcome them to the Sandaire family.”
