Our story

Sand-Aire-House

Investment pioneers

Our understanding of the nature and complexities of managing family and institutional wealth has been formed over 110 years of hands-on experience.

Sandaire Investment Office was established in 1996 by Alex Scott to manage the wider Scott family’s wealth following the sale of Provincial Insurance and Exeter Bank, which the family had owned and nurtured for five generations, in collaboration with leading economist John Maynard Keynes. Keynes’ pioneering approach to investment matters has left a lasting legacy.

The Founders of our business applied a deep understanding of the dynamics of a multi-generational family fortune to help other wealthy families and institutions prosper.

In 2014, Sandaire joined forces with the like-minded team at Lord North Street, bringing additional skills, scale and expertise to our international offering.
